Clinical Case - Poor Running Mechanics
This week we unpack a clinical case just as we see them on our face sheets. Today’s case is an adolescent athlete who currently can’t run with good mechanics—and whose mom is understandably worried about both performance and the risk of further injury. We’ll apply the five pillars of Athletic Performance Therapy to guide our thought process, talk through what we’re hypothesizing, and share how we approach evaluating a young athlete under pressure. From communication strategies to key physical benchmarks, we’ll explore how to move from concern to confidence.
